Wasted Generation Bus Exterior – March 2011 – Oslo, Norway.
This was one of my favourite projects to paint as the client permitted free artistic rights to create a fantastic bus exterior. The idea was to have a derelict and rustic style wrap around the entire bus. Because the bus was an extra size in length, it allowed four really great panel sections to create spectacular design work fitting in each section. We went for the burnt effect around the edges, consisting of a paper burnt edge style, with dark browns around the border fading into light browns and a sandy beige base. The details of statue ornaments with roses in the corners to give it that unique border look. Painted with one of the coolest guys to come out of Oslo. Creator and Founder of Asker Faverhandel, Tes. The client was overwhelmed with the final product we were able to produce. It managed to win an award for Best Exterior in their competition.
