Vietnam Street Interior District Mot
Melbourne, 2018 – Spray Paint / Acrylic / Sculpture / Installation Art
This Vietnam street interior is part mural, part sculpture installation. Individually created and conceptualized for our client, District Mot. Made with spray paint, recycled materials, old furniture, scrap timber, these intricate constructions exemplify the techniques and vision of street artist Dubiz. Combining the featured mural and floor created continuity between both sides of the interior. Influenced by the streets of Vietnam each building has it’s own colour coordinated aspect, with complimentary colour schemes. Working together with Minh, the owner of District Mot, to execute this interior ensured a prompt completion of the sculptural works. His cultural background added a unique flair to constructing and executing this interior concept, with additional input. The streets and shops of Vietnam inspired Set It Off to create this interesting and physically similar interior, like no other. By using Vietnamese architecture, ensuring that an authentic approach to the mural and wall installations included texture and environmental aspects from the Vietnam streets. From rustic balconies to a worn out zebra crossing, the finer details compliment this street interior setting.
