Catapult Sports, Office Interior Wall Art
Graffiti Meets Corporate Innovation
This office interior wall art project for Catapult Sports transformed a blank workspace in Docklands, Melbourne, into a dynamic visual statement. Located in the Clock Tower at Aurora Lane, this mural was designed to reflect Catapult’s identity while celebrating Melbourne’s deep graffiti roots. Using only spray paint, I created a bold, high-detail artwork that merges brand storytelling with fine art.
The mural opens with custom graffiti lettering of their company name with additional motif of a wireless signal, referencing the data-driven sports tech that Catapult is known for. Rather than a flat digital overlay, the text was hand-rendered in a way that brings street graffiti art into a corporate language. This is office interior wall art that goes beyond decor, it’s a creative representation of the company’s name in a graffiti art piece.
A key visual element is a photorealistic painting of Melbourne’s Southbank, including the Eureka Tower, executed entirely with aerosol. It’s a signature detail that anchors the space in place, linking Catapult to its Melbourne roots. To the left, I reinterpreted the Collins Square logo as well as a clock montage, complete with gears, to honour the mural’s location in the Clock Tower. These motifs reflect motion, performance, and precision.
Throughout the mural, subtle textural layers come to life. Up close, there are tiny flecks of paint and fine gradients only visible when viewed at eye level. This deliberate complexity means the artwork evolves with movement, drawing in viewers and becoming part of the office experience. It’s a powerful demonstration of how office interior wall art can shift the mood of a room, stimulate creativity, and reinforce branding.
Importantly, the mural was designed in harmony with the street style envisioned space. It flows around architectural features, aligns with existing cabinetry and lighting, and never feels intrusive. Instead, the mural supports the interior layout while adding rhythm and energy. This balance between design and artwork is what makes it more than just a painting, it’s functional art tailored for a working environment.
For Catapult Sports, this mural serves as a daily reminder of innovation, creativity, and movement. It motivates staff, impresses clients, and strengthens the company culture with a street style interior fit out. It also shows how office interior wall art can be both stylish and strategic.
When companies think of office murals, they often overlook the impact that customised, brand-infused artwork can have. This project proves that office interior wall art can be elegant, urban, and corporate all at once. It communicates more than visuals, it communicates values, culture, and ambition.
This mural lived at the heart of Catapult’s office in Docklands and remains one of the finest examples of graffiti-style office interior wall art applied with precision and purpose.
